Central South Carolina Habitat for Humanity & ReStore

Since our beginning in 1985, Central South Carolina Habitat for Humanity has helped more than 245 families across the Midlands realize the dream of home ownership.

Our partner families are chosen based upon need, ability to pay an interest free mortgage, and willingness to partner with our ministry in performing 350/550 hours of service. This service includes participating in construction of Habitat houses and completing a required series of 12 workshops which emphasize Home Ownership and Life skills offered by our Family Services staff.

Our ability to provide affordable housing depends upon financial support from donors and volunteer labor for contruction. We also recycle funds from our interest free mortgages into construction of new homes.
