Dr. Edward J. Strittmatter, Jr. received his BA and DDS from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. He received his certificate in Endodontics following his residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington D.C.. Before opening the practice in Centreville, Virginia, Dr. Strittmatter served as the Chief of Endodontics for the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland for nine years. In 1990, Dr. Strittmatter was certified as a Diplomate by the American Board of Endodontics. He has been recognized by numerous awards from the Army, Navy and Armed Forces Reserve, including the “A” Designator presented by the Army Surgeon General and the Military Order of Medical Merit.

Dr. Prashant Verma received his BDS from University of Delhi and DDS from Loma Linda University in California. He practiced as a general dentist in San Francisco for two years before pursuing specialty training in Endodontics. Dr. Verma completed his Endodontic residency training and MS in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Maryland in Baltimore. He has been recognized by awards including Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry, the Sherril Ann Siegel Memorial Endodontic Research Fellowship from the University of Maryland and the Diversity in leadership Institute Fellowship from the American Dental Association. Dr. Verma is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland.

Dr. Nosrat received his DDS and MDS in Endodontics from Tehran University of Medical Sciences. He practiced as an Endodontist in Tehran for four years before coming to the United States. Dr. Nosrat completed his Endodontic residency training and MS in Oral Biology from the University of Maryland in Baltimore. He has been recognized by the Tony Michael Ponti Memorial Award from the University of Maryland for excellence in clinical Endodontics and his research work has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Nosrat is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland.

We practice the full scope of Endodontics with expertise ranging from non-surgical and microsurgical treatments to cutting-edge regenerative therapies. We also diagnose and treat cracked teeth, facial pain of dental origin and traumatic dental injuries.

From the front office to the operatory, our practice is made up of professionals who take your oral health very seriously. All staff members are formally trained in the most up-to-date sterilization techniques. We strictly adhere to the infection control guidelines recommended by the American Dental Association, the Centers for Disease Control and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
