CHARISM

CHARISM is a neighborhood-based non-profit in Fargo, North Dakota, offering relationship-based, skill-building programs for low-income and New American children and their families. CHARISM addresses poverty in the community by providing youth enrichment programming, including afterschool mentoring and tutoring programs for elementary school children, in-school programs at the middle and high schools, and summer daycamps, as well as community outreach, including a supplemental food program and community-building events. CHARISM partners with over 50 other organizations and businesses to bring quality programs to the youth and families we work with, including the Fargo Public Schools, Fargo Park District, Fargo Police Department, Great Plains Food Bank, local colleges and universities, and many others. We overcome the barrier of transportation by offering our programs inside the neighborhoods that need us most and create lasting connections for long-term change.
