Chariton Church of the Nazarene

We are a part of the global Church of the Nazarene, a denomination founded in 1895 by the grace of God and our spiritual ancestor Phineas F. Bresee in Los Angeles, California and officially formed as a denomination in 1908 in Pilot Point, Texas. We are in the Wesleyan-Arminian Holiness theological tradition and are evangelical. The mission statement of the Church of the Nazarene is Making Christlike Disciples in the Nations, and our three core values are: 1. We are a CHRISTIAN people; 2. We are a HOLINESS people; 3.
