Charity League of Lexington

Since 1935, the Charity League of Lexington has been giving time, treasure, and talents back to the children of Davidson County. We are a group of women volunteers who have historically been concerned with the health, education, and welfare of the children of the Lexington area and will continue our mission of serving this population today and in the future.

Our biggest fundraiser is the Annual Holiday House & Shoppes, which occurs at the beginning of December. We feature a local house decorated for the holidays to tour, as well as our Shoppes, which offers gifts perfect for everyone on your list, with items including handmade crafts, gourmet foods and artisan inspired wares from regional vendors. Proceeds from the Holiday House & Shoppes support local children's charities and further the mission of the Charity League of Lexington.

We are also known for our Children's Theatre play, which have been bringing a free, live theatre production to the children of Davidson County and surrounding areas since 1954. Over 7,000 children see our shows annually.
