Charlotte Aeromodelers Club

The Charlotte Aeromodelers, an AMA recognized Gold Leader Club, is a group of individuals who build, fly and enjoy all types of radio controlled aircraft from electric, to gliders, to giant scale. We were founded in 1972 and are sanctioned by the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA), a national organization that promotes sport aviation. We have several flight instructors that can help you with everything from building your first model, to breaking-in a new engine, to getting you to your first solo flight.
