The first vacation rental is a beautiful vintage tree house cabin floating atop the trees! Renovated & updated space with refinished cedar wood floors, high vaulted wood ceilings throughout. Fresh kitchen with new appliances, hand painted cabinets and it is equipped with all you will need to cook and dine. We stock some basic pantry items, but bring your own if you wish. Custom furniture hand painted vintage pieces sprinkled through out the cabin.

The master bedroom is a dream to stay in. All fresh and new! Enjoy a beautiful scenic view of the property, mountainside and the valley from the 5x6 ft. picture window, in master bedroom which also overlooks the beautiful stone patio and pond to include beautiful valley view to feature stunning sunsets. Plus the whistle of the train in the valley below makes for a fairy tale setting.

Renovated bathroom includes a claw foot tub and a separate shower.

We provide an air mattress upon request to sleep two more in the living room. Please notify us if you will have more than 2 guest.

The Lodge Retreat is located underneath the main home. Partially built in the side of the mountain, the majority of the lodge floats over the edge of the brow. The Lodge Retreat Features an extra large family gathering area and queen poster bed. A great bunk room with a double bunk, a single on top and an extra single bed. A large bathroom, with large shower features a separate built in vanity. A kitchenette with microwave, small fridge, toaster oven, coffee maker and sink. Also a small dining table. Large screen TV and DVD. Their is a 5th twin bed that folds out of the ottoman! The lodge can sleep 7! The best feature are the 2 walls of floor to ceiling windows, and the wrap around walk out deck and swing. The Lodge has its own private entrance and awesome views.

Guest can utilize the bbq pit located to the left of the main home, the firepit on the stone patio (your first fire will have wood and is on us), badminton, corn home, horseshoes and archery (bring your own bow and arrows) on the property.

Located right between DeSoto state park, walking distance to the boy scout park, near all summer camps, short drive to Fort Payne, de Soto Caverns, Falls and Mentone. Nearby canoeing, snow skiing, horseback riding, endless trails, wildlife all over our property and so much more. If you miss the city, Chattanooga is only about an hour away, Huntsville and hour and a half and Birmingham and Atlanta less than 2.

The home is Situated on 3 acres with incredible valley view, spectacular sunsets, and quiet walks. If you don't want to leave the property, plenty to do and just relax for a short stay. Cabin access is up an outdoor flight of stairs and The Lodge is located down a set of stairs on the brow side of the home.

Either place is a great for a small family and definitely a very romantic getaway. We promise you will fall in love, like we did! Owners live in the main home but respect the privacy of all guest. Everyone is welcome to use the main deck of the home to view beautiful mornings, awesome sunsets and beautiful starry nights.
