Chateau du Vieux Corbeau Winery

“As the newest addition to our estate, our Chateau du Vieux Corbeau Winery began operation in 2002 and has continued to grow. Due to a significant increase in the sale of our wines, we have had to dramatically increase production to keep up with demand! We are now producing over 5,000 gallons of wine a year, and pride ourselves in using berries and grapes bought from local farmers. Our winemaker, Dominique, has become a Maestro, conducting a symphony of flavors that have become Award Winners.”

The winery building is situated to the right of the main Crow-Barbee House on the 27 acres farm and has approximately 5,000 square feet of floor space. Besides featuring an underground wine facility, the winery boasts a tasting room and the “Vineyard Room”. The Vineyard Room is regularly used for private receptions, weddings, and dinners. The winery has hosted numerous events including teas, holiday dinners, luncheons, business meetings, retreats, workshops, dinners, and other events. All of these events are catered by the winery's own culinary staff.

Underground is the true essence of the winery. Here is where Dominique conducts her symphony and composed her award winning wines. Fourteen feet down, the winery cellar remains a fairly steady 60 degrees all year. The cellar contains Stainless Steel tanks of various sizes from 50 to 1,000 gallon tanks. All in all, Dominique has a tank capacity of approximately 10,000 gallons. In addition there are pumps, filters, hoses and other processing and storage equipment.
