Chef Alfredo Ristorante Italiano

Chef Alfredo Modica was born in Modica, Sicily in 1954. Being the middle of 6 kids, Alfredo grew up with his three brothers and two sisters in Pozzallo, Sicily.

There he learned his passion and love for cooking at a very young age as he was taught from the very best; his mother, father and grandmother.

As he got older he left Pozzallo, went to the navy for two years, lived in Germany, and then returned only to work again on cruise ships like, "The Princess Cruises" in restaurants.

There he traveled all over Europe's, South America, and North America's sea coast and Caribbeans.

He then decided to start his own restaurant in America, Germany, Italy and Mexico. He's had many successful restaurants over his lifetime.

His most proudest restaurant is in St. George, Utah and one in Ceder City, Utah. He continues to keep his family's traditions and does not plan to stop sharing the love for his county's food.
