Chef in a Box

Each and every day I get a text an email or a post asking me for recipes or to come cook or even if I would be interested in giving cooking lessons. At least twice a week I get asked why I do not own my own diner or food truck. For the past few months I have been working on an idea behind the scenes and today that idea starts to become a reality. Phase 1 of Gas.tro.pub Fabrications comes to life.

The main reason for the page though is to put out a weekly menu. From this menu, people in the DFW area and soon the KC area will be able to pick and choose 1-7 meals a week, Gas.tro.pub staff will do the grocery shopping for you, we will portion out serving sizes, cut, dice, chop and form your meals into ready to cook meals. You pick the meal up, take it home and cook by the numbers.

All meals will be paleo and GAPS friendly and most will be gluten free (for those that prefer good old fashioned down home cooking with no dietary restrictions I can modify the recipes for you also) . You will be able to pick up extras such as cauliflower tortillas, ice cream and even some of your favorite candy bars. Think peanut butter cups, peppermint patties and your favorite almond and coconut bar covered with dark chocolate!

In the very near future I will open my kitchen 2 Saturdays a month, you will be able to come taste everything on the next weeks menu and I will give you a step by step lesson on creating a healthy menu and then hands on cooking lessons creating the meals that we design.

The menu will change from week to week and I will allow for voting to bring back favorites!
