Cherokee County Public Library

We offer programs for children and adults, an extensive genealogy collection, computer lab, wi-fi, copier, conference room, fax services, and four friendly librarians to serve your information needs.
To apply for a library card, you must live, work, or own property in Cherokee County or reside in the adjoining counties of DeKalb, Calhoun, or Etowah.
You must also provide an alternate contact (the name, address, and phone number of a Cherokee County resident who is not a relative or member of your household); a form of id such as a driver's license, and a piece of mail (in the envelope) with your name and address on it to indicate that you are receiving mail at the address listed on your application.
