Chesapeake Amateur Radio Service

Since 2005 the Club has met at the old Firestation at 116 Reservation Rd in Chesapake, VA in the Great Bridge area.

The club has grown from a small club of 20 some members to close to 100 dues paying members.

The club supports the Tour de Cure bike race that was held in Chesapeake for many years and is now held in the City of Suffolk, VA

The club owns the 146.820 and 444.000 repeaters that are located at the Butts Station tower located next to Chesapeake City park. These two repeaters have an effective range of about 30 miles. The club also operates the 146.61 repeater located near the Bower's Hill section of Chesapeake.
