About Chickpea
After a while of living in the minds of its founders, Chickpea finally started to become a reality in the fall of 2013. Funds were raised for this endeavor through a successful campaign on Indigogo, numerous fundraising events, and most importantly, the generosity of friends and supporters.
Our vision for the new space is a restaurant where diverse peoples can come together to share food, support animal rights, host workshops and lectures, and hopefully try and/or learn something new. Along with expanding the social aspects of Chickpea, we will also be expanding our menu and hope to obtain as much of our ingredients as possible from local sources.
