Children's Ballet Theatre

The Children's Ballet Theatre has been around for over 40 years, founded by Julie Orlob. It is Julie's belief that a child's ballet education should not only include superior technique instruction, but should also include the opportunity to perform in professionally produced ballets choreographed especially for children, which we put on every Spring. We have found that through solid technique instruction and these marvelous productions, our students graduate from CBT with an abiding love for the art of ballet, as well as performing arts in general.

Our teachers have all been trained by our Directresses in order to insure that our students get the best possible instruction as possible. Students are taught by a syllabus that progresses them at the correct pace for their age and physical abilities.

We are a ballet school, so our students must take ballet to be enrolled, but as they get older we do introduce them to other types of dance such as Character and Jazz. We also offer Pilates when our students begin to prepare for pointe shoes.
