Childrens Dyslexia Centers Of New Jersey, Northfield Campus

Dyslexia is estimated to affect millions of school-age children in the United States.
These children typically have average or above average intelligence but experience difficulty with written language, particularly with reading and spelling. Our center does not diagnose dyslexia. The children who receive tutoring at our center have already been diagnosed with dyslexia through educational and psychological evaluations. Many have been tested in their schools and
are receiving special education services. Often the diagnosis in public schools is
labeled as a learning or reading disability. When applications are received at our
center, these evaluations are reviewed. When it is determined that our program will benefit the child, the child is accepted into the program and put on the wait list.
