Chimspector Venting Specialists is locally owned and operated by Drew & Jess Stein. Our goal is to provide the Greater Columbia Metropolitan area with unparalleled customer service while educating our community about their chimney, furnace, and dryer vents.
Chimspector draws from over 15 years inside the venting and hearth industry. Drew spent 11 years working under one of Columbia's premier sweeps and spent 4 years as a sales rep with one of the nations leading venting manufacturers. After living in Charlotte for a bit, they returned home to Columbia when their daughter turned 1 to be closer with family and friends.
Jess takes the position of office manager, delegating the scheduling while maintaining billing departments. Jess earned her bachelor's degree from The University of South Carolina and has been in management for 10+ years. Prior to moving to North Carolina Jess worked with Putnam & Associates, a real estate appraisal company well known in and around Columbia. Jess is dedicated to exceeding your expectations in the customer service department.
We spend a considerable amount of time and resources to travel to educational events across the country. These seminars and workshops assure that we are up to date on codes and standards as well as bringing cutting edge technology to provide you with the best customer experience in town. We have spent several years serving on the board of the South Carolina Chimney Sweep Guild as well as the North Carolina Chimney Sweep Association. Drew has also instructed several classes for the Southeast Hearth, Patio, & Barbecue Association.
Educating homeowners is what our job in this industry is all about and we love helping folks understand how their chimneys and dryer vents function within the home. We also enjoy explaining to our clients how proper maintenance and a little TLC can help you safely enjoy your fireplace for many years to come.
