Christ Kingdom Church

In May 2005 the time had come for the prophecy to be fulfilled. Elder Van J. Alexander was ordained a pastor and Minister Jackie Alexander was ordained an elder in the Lord’s church by Bishop David E. Martin and The Rhema Fellowship of Churches, Inc. After eight months of searching for that right place to establish Christ Kingdom Church they were lead to their first location at 123 Executive Way Desoto, TX. After two years of occupying that location, God uprooted them to tabernacle temporarily at the Lancaster Recreation Center awaiting God’s call to cross over to the place that God was preparing. April 2006 the Lord spoke to Pastor Alexander to appoint his wife Jackie to serve as his assistant pastor and in May 2007 Elder Jackie Alexander was ordained as a pastor by Bishop David E. Martin and the Rhema Fellowship of Churches to serve as the assistant pastor to her husband- Pastor Van J. Alexander.
With a vision to serve his home state of Arkansas, Pastor Alexander is the host of “The Powerful Living Radio Broadcast” that reaches southern Arkansas and northern Louisiana on the air waves of KVMA 630 AM. It has been revealed that this radio ministry will serve as a forerunner; for the day will come when the apostolic anointing upon Pastor Alexander will carry Christ Kingdom Church across state lines into Arkansas and wherever the Lord shall lead. Pastor Alexander also understands that one is too small of a number to do great things. The Lord has favored Christ Kingdom Church with a great people to help under gird this great ministry and affect the lives of God’s creation with the glory that is being revealed in this holy place.

The vision that God gave Pastor Alexander is yet speaking. In January 2007 Christ Kingdom Church School of Ministry was launched with the purpose of equipping men and women for the work of ministry as directed by the Holy Ghost, Holy Scriptures and theological precepts.

In July 2007 Christ Kingdom Church was forced to move from their first place of worship on 123 Executive Way in DeSoto, TX because of unforeseen reasons beyond our control. It was a very trying time for Pastor Alexander; not knowing where to lead God’s people. For a period of about 30 days the ministry was wandering in the wilderness (per sey) with out a place to call home but by the grace of God and the dedication of the members, and help from friends in ministry we were able to maintain our unity and commitment to the ministry of Christ Kingdom Church. Through much prayer and diligence in seeking for a new location; the Lord showed Pastor Alexander a building with a green top not knowing that we would take up temporary residence at the Lancaster Recreation Center in Lancaster, TX that has a green top/roof from August to October of 2007. It was indeed a tabernacle for the ministry with God in the midst.

During the ministry’s temporary stay in the Lancaster Recreation Center, Pastor Alexander continued his search for a permanent residence and temple for the ministry. On November 1, 2007 after many negotiations with the building owner of Bailey’s Furniture- Charles Bailey, an agreement/contract was made to acquire the 10,000 sf building where we now reside at 4215 Gannon Ln. Dallas, TX.
