Christian County is a county located in the U.S. state of Kentucky. As of the 2010 census, the population was 73,955. Its county seat is Hopkinsville. The county was formed in 1797.Christian County is part of the Clarksville, TN–KY Metropolitan Statistical Area.HistoryThe county is named for Colonel William Christian, a native of Augusta County, Virginia, and a veteran of the Revolutionary War.
