We are Non Denominational.There is only one church,the body of Jesus Christ.God is whom we are to worship. We are not there to please ourselves or other men.We are not there to exalt or praise anyone other than God.
The New Testament church only used A cappella or voice music to praise God.Singing from the heart encourages one another,teaches,and helps us to remember Christ.
The Lord's Supper is taken every week on the first day of the week. We are to remember Christ's Sacrifice on the cross, his burial,and resurrection. It is a time of self reflection and thoughts of how to live more Christ like.
Water baptism is immersion for people who are old enough to know right from wrong.They have heard the word of God, they believe that Jesus is the Christ, they repent of past sins and confess their belief that Jesus is the son of God. It is a burial which washes your past sins away to start a new life commitment as a Christian. It is an act of obedience. Jesus himself obeyed God the Father.
Christ is the head of the church. We have Elders and Deacons who help lead the congregation spiritually,watch over the sick,those in need,and help guide the church on a righteous path.
We have a Minister or an Evangelist to help us learn more about the Bible and assist with the work of the church.
We are all ministers and servants of God. We are accountable for ourselves,our actions, and the path we choose in this life. No one person is considered to be higher or more important than anyone else. We are to work together ,using all of our many talents to glorify God and to do His will.
