Church Of Faith II

1. We believe that there are sixty-six books of the Bible consisting of the Old and New Testaments. There are thirty-nine books in the Old Testament and twenty-seven in the New Testament.

2. We believe that the Bible was written by man but was inspired of God in the sense that God personally guided the writers. God guided in the choice of the words used in the original writing.

3. We believe that the Bible is infallible and inerrant - infallible in the sense of being unfailing accurate. Inerrant in meaning that the Bible does not contain any error as a statement of fact.

4. We believe in creation, not evolution.

5. We believe in the God Head, and that God said, "Let us make man in our image."

God the Father, The Son, and Holy Spirit.

6. We believe since the fall of Adam that man is born in sin and shaped in iniquity.

7. We believe that God is omnipresent (everywhere), omnipotent (all-powerful), and omniscient (all-knowing).

8. We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and was the ultimate (perfect) sacrifice for man's sins.

9. We believe that if you confess with the mouth the Lord Jesus Christ, and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead you shall be saved.

10. We believe without the shedding of Jesus' blood there is no remission for sin.

11. We believe the blood of Jesus is the atonement that covers over sin. It provides reconciliation between God and man, accomplished by the Lord Jesus Christ through His sacrificial suffering and death by virtue of which all who exercise proper penitence and faith receive forgiveness of their sins and obtain peace.

12. We believe that Jesus sits on the right hand of the Father as our advocate and pleads our cause.

13. We believe in the Rapture (caught up) and that one-day He shall return for a Church without a spot or wrinkle.

14. We believe that the Bible is complete and it does not need any words, phrases, nouns, verbs, speculation, interpretations, or editorial comments for man to give it power because God's Word is power.
