Affectionately called “The Little French Church,” Church of Saint Louis, King of France has been an integral part of downtown St. Paul, Minnesota, for more than 125 years. Known for its remarkable organ, beautiful artwork, and welcoming community, the church is designated as a Society of Mary (Marist) parish. It was created specifically to serve the French-speaking citizens of St. Paul and was one of the national parishes established by Archbishop Ireland. Church of Saint Louis, King of France began in 1868 and was entrusted to the Society of Mary in 1886.
