Citizens Training Academy

The Mercyhurst University Citizen's Safety Academy provides situational awareness and handgun familiarization to everyday citizens interested in learning more about defending themselves and their loved ones. The education is conducted in such a manner that adult needs and interests are met in a user friendly atmosphere. Staff are patient and directly interact with students in classes where the population is intentionally kept at a manageable number. All staff are vetted by the Municipal Police Training Academy and have multiple years of experience in law enforcement, the military, education, handgun training and defensive tactics.
