City Hill Church

Our church was originally planted in 2005, when Pastor’s Luis and Evelyn Cruz took over leadership of a pastor-less flock. With no previous formal training, fueled only by a passion to serve God and his people and the one-of-a-kind charismatic leadership of our matriarch, Evelyn Cruz, they preached the gospel and started a movement. The rest of the story can only be defined as the work of God’s grace and provision.

The first official service took place on Sunday, October 23, 2005, with around 40 people in attendance. Originally named Love and Prayer Fellowship, we changed names briefly around 2009 to Kingdom Life Ministries.

In October 2010, Pastors Luis and Evelyn Cruz transitioned out of the lead pastor role and Pastor Jonathan Cruz was ordained as lead pastor, along with his wife Sherley. Pastor Luis and Evelyn continue to be actively involved as elders. The new appointment was soon followed with another name change, City Hill Church, leading the church into a new era.

Our journey has had it’s ups and downs and all the while God has been faithful. We continue in the mission of God for our lives, under the leading and strength of the Holy Spirit.
