From humble beginnings around a water station dam along the Houston and Texas Central Railroad line, Allen has developed into a dynamic and diverse community. We're not a small town anymore with nearly 100K residents, but we aren't overgrown either. We've stayed connected to our roots, prepared for the future and built a city that is downright delightful.
And it shows – MONEY's "Best Places to Live 2017" has Allen tops in Texas and #2 in the nation. Family Circle, D Magazine, WalletHub, SafeWise, and Forbes have all given Allen praise and high rankings for livability, safety and economics.
We created this Facebook page to share our continuing story with you. Together we make Allen more than just a place to live - we make it our home.
