On behalf of the Mayor and City Council, and all the citizens of our great little city, it is my pleasure to extend to you a warm welcome and introduction to the City of Chattahoochee. We are excited to present this Facebook page to you in our continuing effort to communicate effectively with the citizens of our community and to acquaint you with the area. We have what I feel is the greatest place on earth to live, even going so far as to be called the “Garden of Eden” by some. We welcome your visit and look forward to having you stop by, take a look around, meet some of the world's friendliest people, and then enjoy our wonderful restaurants and stores, nestled along the Georgia border, the Apalachicola River and home of Lake Seminole, where fishing and water sports abound.
