Gainesville Parks & Recreation

The Gainesville Parks and Recreation Agency operates and maintains eight major facilities, 19 parks and over 443 acres of park land. We are steadfast in our commitment of building and preserving a parks and recreation system that meets the needs of our community. More than 100,000 area residents participate in recreation opportunities that improve health, develop skills, build self-esteem, and bring families and friends together.
