The mission of the Public Works Department is to provide the necessary training and resources to its employees that allow them to provide services to the City's residents accurately, timely, compliant with current codes, and in a professional and responsive manner that leads to customer satisfaction.

The vision of the Public Works Department is to see that its efforts result in improved public streets, storm sewers, sanitary sewers, bridges, rights of way, public buildings, solid waste removal, and traffic safety; providing convenience, comfort and safety to the users of public infrastructure.
