Operating from one station the staff of 30 provide coverage to the City of Joshua. Apparatus include 2 Engines, 2 Brush Trucks, a Battalion Chief's and Chief's vehicles.
Currently the department responds to approximately 700 calls per year as the call volume increases with the population of the City and County.
Joshua Fire Department is looking to the future, thanks to citizen approval in a Bond election, as the design phase of a new $2.7 Million station nears completion with construction anticipated to begin in Spring 2011. Additionally, a new E-One Custom Engine has been ordered, thanks to the City Council, and is anticipated to be delivered in June, 2011.
