Our approximately 1,200 City of Reno employees come to work every day dedicated to creating a community that people are proud to call home. The Biggest Little City in the World is becoming a vibrant university town known as a base for outdoor activities, an arts and events destination, and a tech center boasting diverse, innovative industries.

The Reno City Council has identified the following strategic priorities to focus where the the City's financial resources, service delivery, staffing, and infrastructure development should be dedicated: Vibrant Downtown, Safe & Healthy Neighborhoods, Planning for Growth, Fiscal Stability & Sustainable Services, and a Healthy & Efficient Business Environment.
