The West Monroe Fire Department has the trained personnel and specialized equipment required when responding to the fire, medical and disaster emergency needs of the residents and visitors of West Monroe. Our firefighters strive to minimize losses and suffering by providing quick and efficient responses to emergencies. To further serve, we provide fire safety education, public information, building inspections, fire investigations, and community service activities.
With the addition of a new station in 2012, our department is prepared to meet the community’s needs quickly and professionally. We respond to all incidents in the city involving fire suppression, emergency medical services, rescue and hazardous materials. All members are trained in vehicle extrication and are certified at a haz-mat operations level.
