City Rescue Mission Bridge to Life Program

City Rescue Mission offers homeless individuals shelter, food and clothing along with the opportunity to end their homelessness. In addition, City Rescue Mission is a drug free institution and helps individuals who desire to end their dependence on drugs and alcohol. Each individual will be given the opportunity to select the path they feel best suits their needs but with the understanding that whatever their choice is, it must also include the understanding of being free from the addiction of drugs and alcohol.
For many, their primary concern may be the need to overcome their addictions and choose to join the Recovery Program. Some will choose to enter our Work Program and utilize our career development case management to acquire a job. For others, it may be the opportunity to get enrolled in school where they can complete their GED, learn a trade or complete their education in some other way. A few may need help with getting the necessary assistance through our Social Services Department.
Once a decision is made, Clients are moved into their respective living quarters and given an Individual Service Plan (ISP) dependant on their individual needs.

BRIDGE TO LIFE PROGRAMS

Short Term Services -

Clients are offered the opportunity to stay in the emergency shelter and have the ability to obtain help finding employment and other social services.


Specialized Services -

Seniors and those with special physical and mental needs will be directed to the Social Services Department, where they meet with a Case Manager who learns how best to move forward and enable them to move out of homelessness.


Work Program -

Clients are offered the opportunity to gain employment and are guided to finding employment opportunities that best suit their background. Once employed, we help each individual pay off debts and budget for the future.


School Program -

We offer those we help the chance to further their education and guide them through the process of selecting the best school suited for their needs. Once schooling is complete, we guide them to employment opportunities.


Recovery Program -

The Holistic Recovery Program is the focal point of everything we do at the Mission. It is especially designed to help clients become spiritually alive, emotionally stable, physically healthy and socially active in all aspects of society.
