Cityside Records was launched in 1999 to become the #1 Major independent R&B/Rap Label in Florida. Started by Stevie Thompson and financed by his brother Alonzo Davis, the label released 4 projects which one was the Makaveli II project. The label released mix-tapes worldwide selling over 1,000,000 million units through their distribution partners. The label's partner Alonzo scrapped his half after going into marriage leaving Mr. Thompson to carry the weight. the label lacked finances between the years of 2004 to 2007 but still released numerous mixtapes and underground albums by The CitySide Hot Boyz, D.J. Stevie Tee, F.U.K. (Florida Underground Kingz), U.G.H.(Underground Hustle).

For Stevie Thompson At the end of 2007 seven years after knowing he was being called and led by God to preach the gospel, he surrendered unto God to do His will. God revealed to him that he was being educated after all those years in the music industry for the good of God and not himself and this was the reason for him even being in the music industry.

Mr. Thompson who between 2007 and 2009 was called Brother Steve and released his first ministry C.D. called: A Million & 1 Souls Saved Volume 1.

God revealed to him that the purpose of ministry was to win souls to Him through Christ.

When listeners of the church heard the music ministry they told him that he was preaching through the music and after that he began to take bible scripture and break it down as a pastor he was called to do in the music he released.

NEW VISION

Mr. Thompson now called Minister Stevie Tee and D.J. Stevie Tee has been given a vision by God to minister to the unsaved who are in and of the world and win them over to God through Christ.

Starting January 29th of 2012 to now his ministry/label has released 15 singles that the sinners (who are not saved) have downloaded to their cell phones and computers worldwide over 12,094,000 units (Only 2 years) after viewing their new releases.
