C.J. Brown Dam and Reservoir includes 4,085 acres. 3,650 are leased to The Ohio Department of Natural Resources for the operation of Buck Creek State Park. Two rare fen communities are preserved on 119.5 acres. 8 acres are part of the historic Crabill Homestead operated by the George Rogers Clark Heritage Association. The remaining 307.5 acres are directly managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
