The Gryphon and Pleiades Honor Society consists of 12 outstanding Clark University Seniors who exemplify the motto: Scholarship, Leadership, and Citizenship. The honor society's chief aim is to promote student leadership on and off campus. Gryphon and Pleiades has a long history at Clark University as a prestigious honor society. The organization today is the result of a merger of two earlier honor societies, Gryphon, the men's honor society founded in 1909, and Pleiades, the women's honor society founded in 1948. Each spring, members of Gryphon & Pleiades will induct rising seniors into the honor society.
