With over 24 years of geriatric nursing experience, our owner and administrator Claudia has a passion for senior care and has worked in the community to better the lives of the Downriver senior population.

The mission and philosophy of Claudia's Cottage is to provide exceptional, individualized personal and medical care within a comfortable, homelike atmosphere. With respect and compassion, we will provide an environment in which our senior residents will thrive and where the emphasis will be on caring for them as an individual person. Claudia's Cottage pledges that it's care and services to our residents shall be designed to maintain and improve the resident's physical, mental and social functioning and independence. We shall ensure that all interactions with our residents intend to promote and encourage cooperation, self-esteem, self-direction and independence
