More about Cleveland County Rescue Mission

In February 2009, the Cleveland County Rescue Mission took over operations of the Beacon Men's Shelter in Uptown Shelby. The vision of offering 24/7 services to the homeless was realized in May of 2015 with the opening of the renovated facility on Buffalo Street. And in November of 2015 when the men's shelter Uptown was renovated and reopened as Heart2Heart Place; serving women and women with children.
We also operate transitional homes for some graduates of our program.
The program contributes to systemic change within the areas of education and social services by addressing and correcting "the most broken thing" that each unique homeless individual is struggling with while providing clothing, medication, safe shelter, and food for them as they are restored to independent living.
CCRM relies heavily on financial support from members of our community. Please call to schedule a tour and learn how you can join us in restoring hope to our hopeless neighbors!
