More about Cloud 9 Helicopters

We are a British owned and operated Commercial Helicopter Operator and FAA Part 141 Approved Flight Training School, FAA Part 135 Direct Air Carrier, and FAA Part 137 Aerial Applicator based in North Palm Beach County, near Palm Beach International Raceway, at North County General Aviation Airport.
As a Helicopter Flight Training School we are perfectly placed in West Palm Beach in terms of weather and facilities. Our Airport (F45) is a large but uncontrolled one right on the edge of Palm Beach International's busy controlled airspace. As a result we have the best of both worlds, a nice uncontrolled airport with excellent facilities in which to conduct basic training without any outside interference and then into the controlled airspace of an International Airport when we want to conduct more advanced training and of course the Florida weather ensures that you are going to get continuity of training which is vitally important in keeping your total training cost as low as possible.
This airport is ideal for both initial and professional training as all of our training areas are right here on the airfield which is a huge benefit for initial students as no time is wasted commuting to 'off airport' practice areas .Some flight schools in South Florida are forced to travel up to 15 minutes flight time each way into 'approved training' locations that are away from large built up areas. In addition to this, our airport also has 6 published FAA instrument approaches (3 GPS ‘WAAS’) which again means that students studying for professional training do not need to travel away from this airport environment to conduct their Instrument Training.
We operate 7 Robinson R22's, 2 Schweizer CBI’s, 4 Robinson R44's, MD500, AS350, AS 355 and A109S
