As a neonatologist, I care for premature babies and babies with special needs in the NICU at Clovis Community Medical Center. I also care for newborns — both term and preterm — born at the Clovis hospital.

Generally, once babies go home from the hospital, their medical care is transferred to a pediatrician, who sees babies and children in a clinic or office setting.

There are great pediatricians in our community who can take care of these babies after discharge, but I always felt that I could do more to serve my NICU graduates. I wanted to do more! After all, nobody knows these babies better than their NICU doctor, so what if …

What if I could continue to follow these special NICU babies after discharge to maintain continuity of care?

This thought inspired me to open a pediatric practice to complement my neonatology practice, and Clovis Pediatric Group was born as a place where your baby can receive this continuity of care.

We can begin coordinating the care of your baby while you are still pregnant. You can visit me for prenatal consult if there is any concern that baby may born premature or there are some other unexpected problems. We can discuss any concerns you have.
