Located halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco, the Fresno/Clovis area lies at the foot of the Sierra Nevada, in the geographical and economic heart of the agriculture-rich San Joaquin Valley.
The Clovis Unified School District is a K-12 public school system that serves the cities of Clovis and Fresno, some unincorporated areas of Fresno County, and the rural community of Friant. The district covers approximately 198-square miles, and has a student population of more than 41,000.
