Clyde is a town in Haywood County, North Carolina, United States. The 2010 census recorded the population at 1,223 people. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.89% of the population.There were 547 households out of which 29.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 51.6% were married couples living together, 12.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 31.8% were non-families. 26.7% of all households were made up of individuals and 10.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
