CNY Salseros

CNY Salseros are about teaching quality dance training at reasonable rates for the benefit of the community. As well as providing a fun social where everyone is welcome to enjoy themselves.

Classes run from 7 pm - 8 pm Wednesdays in Shoppingtown Mall

Complete Training - Our training covers body isolations, spin techniques, lead & follow techniques as well as the figures of the dance.

Flexible - We're also quite flexible and understand that life happens, and have an accessible walk-in plan to accommodate anyone with any ability.

Teacher Attention - We have multiple teachers present in every class, to ensure that everyone will learn something. Especially since everyone learns differently and some pick up topics quicker than others that a challenge will be present for everyone. So if one part of the class isn't understanding something the class can function as two classes. The same is true if there are some that aren't being challenged that they can break off and do something more involved, while the rest stick to the basics.

Friendly Socials - CNY Salseros host Syracuse Salsa Nights, and the instructors are always in attendance and will dance with literally anyone in the room and won't say no. Syracuse Salsa Nights is also great because they regularly bring in great instructors and performers outside of CNY Salseros, that are often from outside of Syracuse.

Great Music - A large variety of music is played for the classes as well as in the socials covering salsa/mambo, bachata, merengue & cha-cha-cha. The DJ (guest or regular) will take requests if they have the song, and some will get it on the spot if not by next week.
