Co-op Farmers Market

The Co-Op Farmers Market is open every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from Noon-6pm from Mid July until Thanksgiving Eve. We are located at 900 Barring Avenue in Scranton, just off Albright Avenue behind the famous Glider Diner. Our organization is supported and operated by the Women’s Auxiliary of Scranton.

The Co-op Farmer’s Market in Scranton PA is the only market of its kind in NE Pennsylvania. Our market success for the past 74 years can be attributed to the fact that we are strictly a grow-your-own market, bringing fresh foods direct from our farms to you! To be a member of our co-operative you must grow everything you bring into the market. When you shop with us, you buy directly from a farmer. Our produce is always fresh picked and home grown.

The Co-Operative Farmer’s Market offers a wide variety of seasonal, home-grown, fresh-picked fruits, vegetables, jams & jellies, and fresh cut & potted flowers. In addition, each year we hold special events including cooking demos, music, crafts, and more.
