CoachRev, Professional Wedding Officiant and Chaplain

Welcome to CoachRev @the Crossroads -- weddings, baptisms, funerals or any other spiritual need provided by an ordained Christian clergywoman!

Background Philosophy:

Often folks are in need of someone to officiate at a wedding, or help them through the funeral process for a loved one, or want to have a child (or themselves) baptized, but have no official church connection. Some who have a church connection may find their requests denied for various reasons -- the pastor will only perform weddings held in the church sanctuary, and the couple want to be married at home, or outdoors . . . or the church/clergy have voted not to support the GLBT community… the rules of the church say that the persons that parents want to have serve as godparents for their child "do not qualify" according to the standards of that denomination . . . the clergy contacted will not do funeral services in funeral homes . . . or, in any of the cases above, the minister contacted will not co-officiate with a religious leader of another faith -- not with a Rabbi, or Priest, or Imam, or Shaman (such as Native American).

As an ordained United Church of Christ minister and participant in the Unitarian Universalist tradition, I offer services for Baptisms, Weddings, Funerals and Memorial Services for those with no church connection, or whose church is unable to provide the service they want or need. I am best known for my ability to bring comfort, peace, professionalism, a sense of humor, and high personalization to the process of performing these ceremonies. In my hospice ministry of several years, I have been privileged to walk an end of life journey with people of many faith traditions, and those with no beliefs, and have done so by honoring each persons beliefs, understandings and values. I have also served as a church pastor. It is my passion and my goal to create a ceremony tailored to the people I serve.
Services are not limited to weddings, funerals and baptisms (though these are the most frequent requests) -- pastoral counseling, grief counseling and spiritual direction are also available, and I am open to any request.

Located in the Marlborough, MA area, I am willing to travel if requested. Any services provided are on a fee for service basis, and the fee for any event will be negotiated with the person(s) making the request. Variables that might affect costs include travel expenses and time commitment required.
In any service, I will work with you to tailor a service that meets your unique and individual needs. The order of things, any special music or readings, any family traditions, are all things for us to discuss in planning your event. My goal is for you and all attending to go away from the experience feeling they have just experience a powerful and meaningful event.
**Special note**
