At Coastal Kids Academy of SC we understand that the early years of children’s lives are the most critical when it comes to the child’s development. At this point in their lives they are growing and learning at a phenomenal rate. Individuals learn through experiences and interactions with others. We believe that it is important to have a child in an environment that is consistent and secure. Each child is a unique individual who needs a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere in which to grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially. It is at this age when children need to and start to form those secure attachments not only with their family members but also their teachers and others around them. Being in a safe environment such as a classroom is a great place for these children to form the secure attachments.
