Coaster Coffee provides a “table” for people to connect with each other. A coffee shop is a comfortable, neutral place to meet with people around a table; something that is important for a transient, busy culture. The table is where life slows down and one can focus on people; their needs, wishes and desires.

Coaster Coffee is a neighborhood focused, friendly place offering customers the best prepared coffee in the area, complimented with specialty drinks, pastries, free books patrons can enjoy during their visit, and music to fit the mood. This coffee shop is an answer to the increasing demand for a neutral community meeting place in the greater Ocean View area. People of all ages, races, beliefs and socio-economic standing are welcome.

Coaster Coffee is operating as a non-profit business. All profits go back into the community by feeding the hungry, building community gardens, teaching kids the arts and helping people who are out of work secure employment. Other creative ways to put resources back into the community to benefit our city will continue to be developed.

The company is operating a 2,500 square foot coffee shop across from Northside Park, about one mile north of Walmart at 8418 Tidewater Drive in Norfolk, VA.
