Cobblers Mistress Sandals are handmade in Greece on the island of Crete. Crete being the island that was the home to the gifted sandal maker that all Greek Gods and Goddess went to to get their custom pair of sandals. It is said that he would enrich them with magical powers. Famous for having made the flying sandals for Hermes, the sandal maker also decorated them with his personal touch, such as a “golden wing” clasp.
