Coco Hut Dart Frogs

Coco Hut Dart Frogs is a family hobby and project.

After having saltwater aquariums for quite a few years, we had acquired a 150 gallon setup that had a chip in the glass. We had decided it wasn't worth the risk of having all that saltwater crashing down on the living room floor. That led to researching other possible inhabitants and terrariums. I stumbled upon poison dart frogs(which are NOT poisonous!) and was instantly hooked! They have a full spectrum of colors similar to saltwater fish. We started with 12 Leucs in that original setup. We're now up to about 80 frogs and 23 vivariums.

After having an aquarium mindset, I hadn't considered the possibility of how many offspring they could produce. Turns out that our group of 12 could easily produce 100's of offspring over time. The beautiful thing about this hobby...the plants and frogs multiply with proper care! Just add glass boxes!

This led us to start Coco Hut Dart Frogs. A fun way to share, advertise, trade, and sell within the hobby. Our frogs are still a little young. Most of our frogs are just nearing breeding age with about half dozen or so species/morphs currently breeding. The shelves are starting to fill with eggs and tads. We'll post progress, pictures, and more as we continue to enjoy this hobby. Please feel free to share, post, and/or ask questions!
