Knights of Columbus Benefits Advisor - Cody Roos

I learned the value of hard work and diligence growing up on a small, family-owned dairy farm in Tillamook, Oregon. My father has been farming for over 30 years. Throughout those years, my family has experienced volatility in financial stability, as is the case with many businesses. This instability inspired me to pursue a career helping others to protect what they really care about and achieve financial stability so that they never have to worry about putting food on the table.

I take an uncommon and holistic approach to financial planning. I believe that money should not be a limiting factor in doing the things in life that we are called to do. I start with 5 financial priorities: getting organized, maintaining adequate protection from life's speed bumps, saving an adequate percentage of gross income, maintaining at least one year of liquid savings, and eliminating short-term debt.

After graduating from Oregon State University, I began my career in the financial advising industry. Ultimately, helping others do the things in life that they are called to do is my objective. Naturally, the Knights of Columbus is an excellent fit as they look to serve the greater good.

I am truly blessed to have the opportunity to touch the lives of others in a positive way. I enjoy giving back to my community and being involved with my church. I look forward to life's many adventures and the opportunity to help others live a fulfilling life.
