COE Professional and Continuing Education

The office of Professional and Continuing Education (PACE) of the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) College of Education (COE) is dedicated to advancing professional learning to continually improve the educational experiences and learning of children in Alaska and beyond.

The PACE team collaborates with UAA academic units, school districts, professional societies, and other partner orto address immeiate and evolving professional development needs.

PACE provides responsive service and program-based long term planning and support for 500-level courses, professional learning communities, workshops, conferences, institutes, and academies.

Focusing on substantive and sustained professional learning, PACE offers over 400 partnered professional development courses a year. These courses serve over 3300 educators across the state, nationally, and internationally.
