Cohoes Community Center

Cohoes Community Center has been providing a community gathering space for people of all ages. The Center offers an Olympic sized pool, a fully equipped weight room a full court gym and a cardio-fitness center. The Center administers a broad range of courses and fitness opportunities from our “Learn to Swim” aquatics program, to step aerobics, yoga, and health and nutrition classes.

The most significant service that our community needs that our Center meets, is that of child care; sponsored by our Child Development Center (CDC) program. The CDC provides day care for children (aged 2-13 years) in an environment that is conducive to the promotion of logical thinking, motor development, social skills, conflict mediation skills, and good health & nutritional habits. The Child Development Center is composed of three major components: our all day, full time day care program, our school age child care program, and our traveling summer day camp.
